Email Workshop: Lists & Segments

Bring your questions and ideas as we dig into email marketing for ecommerce brands. This small group, workshop session is led by Gabrielle Pitman. Bring peace of mind to the nagging feeling that your email efforts need fixing or fine-tuning.

Gabrielle will present on an introductory topic to get the conversation going: lists & segments. How many lists ought you maintain? How to segment your list and manage segments over time. Then we’ll open up Q&A.

Be prepared to share your screen if you want feedback or to give explanation to your question. Our expert focus is Klaviyo, but we have experience with Mailchimp, Drip, ActiveCampaign, Wix, ConvertKit, etc. This is not intended as software-specific technical support to replace what you could get from your Email Service Provider (ESP). But we might help you formulate questions to your ESP’s technical support. We can certainly orient you to the broader objective, and evaluate its relative priority.

What do you wish for from your email or SMS marketing? We can go as deep, or advanced, as you want to go. For example, troubleshoot automations with branding logic that’s triggered by enriched custom profile properties.

But you’re also welcome to bring big picture ‘why’ questions. For example,

• Why are you getting fewer optin subscribers than you did before?
• Why are they not turning from prospects to customers after joining your list?
• Should we start SMS marketing now or later?
• How can we improve efficiency of our email design and creation process?

In this small group setting, you’ll listen to questions from others, as well as have the opportunity to ask your own.
